Do you charge extra for emergency or after-hours service?
Yes. Service calls between 8 PM and 6 AM carry a 20% after-hours surcharge. We answer 24/7, and we'll always tell you about the surcharge upfront, so there are no surprises on your invoice.
Do you offer financing?

Should I repair or replace my AC?
Repair it if the system is reasonably young, the fix is modest, and it has been reliable. A common rule of thumb is the "$5,000 rule": multiply the unit's age by the repair cost, and if the result is over $5,000, replacement is worth considering. We'll give you an honest recommendation either way.
How long do AC units last in Austin?
Most central AC systems in Central Texas last about 10 to 15 years. Long cooling seasons and hot attics add a lot of run time, so regular maintenance makes a real difference in how long yours lasts.
How often should I service my AC in Texas?
At least once a year, ideally in spring before summer heat arrives. If you also use a heat pump or furnace, plan on twice a year for your full HVAC system: cooling in spring and heating in fall.
Why is my AC blowing warm air or freezing up?
Warm air is most often caused by a failed capacitor, low refrigerant from a leak, a dirty filter or coil, or a tripped breaker. Ice on the lines or coil usually means restricted airflow (often a dirty filter) or low refrigerant. If you see ice, switch the thermostat from Cool to Off, set the fan to On to thaw it, and replace the filter. If the problem comes back, call us.
What should I do if my AC stops working?
Start with a few safe checks: make sure the thermostat is set to Cool and below room temperature (and replace its batteries if it uses them), check the air filter, and check your breaker panel for a tripped AC breaker. Reset a tripped breaker only once; if it trips again, leave it off. If you see ice, smell burning, or hear grinding or banging, turn the system off. Don't open the unit or handle refrigerant. Then call us 24/7.
